Promotes quality patient care through the performance of diagnostic MRI utilizing appropriate technique, established protocols, physician direction and age specific guidelines. Maintains thorough knowledge of MRI safety, contrast agents, injector systems, MRI equipment, supplies, and quality assurance guidelines and applies such knowledge in day-to-day performance of duties.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Education: Graduate from an approved/accredited School of Radiologic Technology preferred Or Associate Degree or Higher post high school education.
Certification : ARRT (R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification or registry eligible. Technical, clerical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills relevant to patient care/area. Current American Red Cross/American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required. Other certification requirements as defined by the certification policy. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
