JOB SUMMARY:Under the direct supervision of the Help Desk Supervisor, the Help Desk Analyst is responsible for coordinating all customer support (Help Desk) functions for the automated systems utilized within facilities in the Hospital Partners of America Houston Market. Provides customer support to address information technology hardware and software questions and issues.MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:WORK EXPERIENCE:- Minimal 1 year customer service experience.- Minimum 2 years experience as a hospital system user.- Preferred 1 year experience in Help Desk functions.LICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION: NoneEDUCATION & TRAINING:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Customer service, personal computer, computer systems and/or applications, Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office training.SKILLS:- Ability to work with people and assist technical personnel.- Familiar with hospital operations and relationships of programs to various hospital departments.- Works closely with other technicians in department maintaining an effective working relationship with all levels of hospital personnel.- Specials skills in related support functions: Personal computers, PC support, McKesson, MS Windows and MS Office.- Knowledge of computer hardware, computer systems, and data communications; Multitasking skills; Organization of workflow.- Good oral/written communication skills.- Prioritizing and time management.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER MINORITIES / WOMEN / VETERANS / DISABLED
